Museum of Native American History

Venture just a hair outside of Downtown and find this unique cultural experience. The Museum of Native American History is located right off the Trail of Tears that goes down Central Ave. They are an incredible place to learn about a history you probably didn't know we had. When you walk in, you're greeted by a giant, friendly, mammoth skeleton. Don't let it surpirse you. They have a unique gift shop and offer a lot of public events that tell well the story of the Native Americans that were here before us. This is definitely one of those "must see" places when you're visiting town, because it's so unique to everything else and they're very knowledgeable.
